Chris is a Director in Deloitte’s Organisation and Change practice. Chris has worked extensively within Health and Local Government helping them respond to increasing customer demand and expectations within limited resources.

Christopher Long is Chief Executive of NHS Hull. He has held this role since the creation of Hull Teaching Primary Care Trust in October 2006. This PCT was formed as a result of the merger of Eastern Hull PCT and West Hull PCT, of which he was the Chief Executive. Before coming to Hull in 2004, Chris spent two years as the Chief Executive of Hambleton and Richmondshire PCT in North Yorkshire.

Barbara Hakin is the Chief Executive of NHS East Midlands. Prior to joining NHS East Midlands, Barbara was a PCT Chief Executive in Bradford for 6 years during which time she also held a broad range of national roles including Interim Director General of Commissioning in the Department of Health and Director of Primary Care in the Modernisation Agency.

Mike Burrows is the Chief Executive of Salford Teaching Primary Care Trust where he has worked since 2001.

Dr. Nicholas Bradbury directs a range of the King’s Fund programmes for doctors and senior managers, including the Top Manager Programme. 

John has over 25 years’ health care expertise, from having both worked in and consulted with the NHS, private sector and health care businesses.

Starting his career in the defence industry Mark has been involved in leading transformation programmes in the UK and overseas for over 15 years. Formerly the director of the UK’s Flagship Transformation Programme for Manufacturing in a number of regions, Mark has also gained extensive experience of delivering Lean into the armed forces and within local and regional government.

Nigel is Director of Policy and Communications for the NHS Confederation, the membership organisation that represents over 95% of NHS organisations in the UK.

Author and motivational speaker Pascoe Sawyers is best known as the originator of the Me FOCUS personal leadership principle.
